It’s a funny old game – even funnier when you’re encased in an enormous inflatable bubble and still attempting to score goals with your team. But that’s Bubble Football for you, it’s a funny game that everyone should try, and there’s no better place to try it out than at Bubble Football Budapest, where you can bounce around with your best buddies and have a barrel of laughs at the same time.

But whether it’s in a bubble or otherwise, there’s one thing that all budding bubbly sports persons should not forget – to warm up! There are many reasons that warming up is essential before football, or any other physical activity, but here are a few of them:

  • It will raise your heart rate, increase your circulation and distribute oxygen and nutrients. This means that when the game starts it won’t come as a shock to the system.
  • Warming up will raise your body temperature and warm your muscles so they will be able to absorb shock better, and therefore lessen your change of being injured.
  • It will awaken the nerve pathways from your brain to your muscles, so you will be better prepared for the physical movements of the game.
  • It will start off the perspiration and breathing rates that will prevent you from overheating later during play.
  • Warming up will mentally prepare you for the game ahead so you will be more focussed and aware when you need it the most.

Warming up exercises can be from light jogging to progressively faster running, stretching and dynamic movements that give your joints the full movements they need. Dynamic stretches in circular motions are also a good idea, as they enable you to reach different sets of muscle groups and safeguard you against injury. Recent research has shown that some static stretches may even make you slower and make injury more likely.


We’ve all seen or experienced the results of muscle injury, and often this can be avoided by thoroughly warming up prior to physical activity. So, although it may be difficult to take completely seriously, remember to make sure you’re primed and ready for some heavy-duty bouncing!

You can play the game from the age of 5.

The bubbles, or zorb balls are proven to be completely safe and are inspected before every game.

Typically bubble football matches last an hour, but you can book more time if you feel like you could take more!

The weight limit on the bubbles is 110kg.

We can accomodate 2 teams up to 12 people (24 total), but you can try bubble football with as few as 6 people.

Sorry, while bubble football is safe, bouncing around in bubbles while drunk may cause serious dizziness, so playing while intoxicated is not recommended.
